About

Hello, I’m Traci Langenbach! Thanks for checking out my new business, Classic Country Threads!

About Me

I am a wife and mother to two wonderful children, a girl, Lucy, and a boy, Tate. I live on the outskirts of town, but still in a lovely country setting. I have mini donkeys and my daughters pony on my small hobby farm, and I’m planning on adding a few horses to my pasture again soon for the kids to grow up with.

I have been sewing and mending since 2010 on various items and projects and I give all the credit to my mom when it comes to my love of sewing and crafting! She made her projects look so easy and flawless, but I soon realized that it takes a lot of time and patience to teach yourself and make a beautiful creation when that last bit of thread is stitched.

About Classic Country Threads

Classic Country Threads was a name that I’ve had in my mind for quite a few years, back when I started to really get into sewing and mending. My love for sewing blossomed in the scarce downtime that I had while I was going to college and maintaining a full-time job. Sewing was my “get away,” as I enjoy making gifts for my nieces, sister-in-laws and other family members for their birthdays and special holidays. As word spread that I was sewing, I was soon fixing many family members’ and friends’ zippers, rips and tears on their clothing.

Once I started my life as a stay at home mom in 2019, I wanted to focus my attention on getting something set up for a full-time sewing and mending business. Plus, I know that there is a need for horse blanket repairs in the area as well, so from that, Classic Country Threads was born. Just a few days before my second child was born in August 2020, I started buying the needed equipment for this business. Now, I’m (thankfully) getting busier as the word spreads and I’m excited to continue growing Classic Country Threads!
